About Me

My name is Jack and I am the person behind the site. I have over 8 tears experience of gambling going through stages of small punting to times where it has been my sole source of income. When I was starting my gambling journey I was mainly betting on football but it didn’t take me long to get into horse racing and the extra emotion that this gives you.

My first experience at a race course came when a good friend of mine suggested that I tag along to a trip to Newton Abbot. He has grew up a stones throw from Cheltenham Race Course and had even had a few part time jobs at the track. I had a woeful day and couldn’t catch a break but it was a turning point in my life. The moment I left the track I knew I wanted to know everything there was about horse racing.

Since my woeful trip to Newton Abbot you will be pleased to know I know at lot more about racing. Not everything because that would be impossible but enough that I could make this a viable option and could allow myself to travel further. At the point of writing this my most recent race day would be The Coral Gold Cup at Newbury. I had done my research and had my ante-post bets on. First few races were dominated by favourites but then it was time for The Coral Gold Cup. I remember telling my friend that I was certain I had the winner. I didn’t need to bet at the track because I’d had the winner for a couple weeks now.

I watched on as Gavin Sheehan went from last to first place as it jumped the last and went on to win by 3 lengths. I don’t know what it reached in running but I’m sure it wouldn’t have been far off 100/1. I was happy with my 20/1 and walked away with more money than I had ever made of any previous race day.

On this site you will find all my racing insights and opinions which I have shared. It will include all aspects of the sport from form, to weights, to distance, to going, you name it. With this you can do as you please. Follow my punts, decide your own, or just use it for information. As long as you are enjoying the sport then that’s all that matters.
